Over-Boost

Beyond Redline has taken apart the exhaust manifold and turbocharger assembly from the 2.0T Genesis Coupe. No surprises here, a typical log manifold with a rather small TD04-based Mitsubishi turbocharger. Click here to see this thread on GenCoupe Forums. They have also fabbed up their prototype bar and plate aftermarket intercooler upgrade for the 2.0T Genesis Coupe. They say that it is the largest core you can fit in the front end without structural modifications – and with a great high quality core this provides at least a 20hp improvement over similar aftermarket intercoolers.
